Multi-wave station of solar monitoring |
|
Base of station of solar monitoring is spectrogeliograph of Kharkov Astronomical Observatory (Ukraine). This is unique astronomical instrument for observations of the Sun. It lets to carry out wide range astrophysical researching of the Sun in monochromatic light. Spectrogeliograph was designed in 30-th by academician Barabashev and Ponomariov. In 1993 it was modernized, using new one-dimensional CCD as photo-detector and personal computer. This has made possible to carry out observation on new, modern level. Since that at Astronomical observatory of Kharkov State University series of works (See Abstracts) has been successfully carried out and big amount of digital images of the Sun has been gotten. These images become available for world scientific community now via Internet. Our station is able to give 30-60 images of the Sun per hour in any part spectrum from 0.3 to 1.1 m . But we don't have possibility to carry out observations regularly now. Financing of science on Ukraine practically stopped. In spite of this we intend to observe the Sun and put image in site database. All that you can see on this site is result of enthusiasm of authors - reseachers of Astronomical observatory of the Kharkov State University, united in CyberTech group. We are looking for sponsors and users of our information for development of our station. |
